MODSTREET Partners with Anselmi & DeCicco and NJ Transit to Deliver Modular Transit Upgrade at MetLife Stadium Ahead of FIFA World Cup
EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ — MODSTREET partnered with Anselmi & DeCicco and NJ Transit to design and deliver a first-of-its-kind modular transit solution at MetLife Stadium in preparation for the upcoming FIFA World Cup.
The project features a scalable, rapidly deployable system of 10 fully ADA-compliant modular bus platforms, engineered to support high-volume passenger movement while preserving existing infrastructure. The solution enables temporary transit expansion for major events without requiring permanent site modification, and can be fully disassembled and reused for future deployments.
A Model for Future Transit Infrastructure
Beyond its immediate impact for FIFA World Cup operations, the MetLife Stadium installation represents a scalable model for transit management at major venues, sports stadiums, and special events nationwide. The modular approach allows agencies and venue operators to expand transit capacity without long-term disruption to parking assets or surrounding infrastructure.
“We were proud to be selected to help deliver our modular bus platform solution to support New Jersey Transit and the FIFA World Cup. Our fast, scalable solution and flexibility in design and size will be excellent not only for this global event but future use at MetLife Stadium as well. We can easily provide similar solutions for other agencies who are seeking help with large events such as concerts, the Olympics, and more.”
– Roger Zalneraitis, CEO
